Dr. Mohammed Shaikh, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist who has dedicated his career to improving the lives of those suffering from chronic pain. Leading the team in Dallas, Plano, and Denton, Texas, Dr. Shaikh is passionate about helping patients regain control of their lives through innovative, sustainable treatments.
With a focus on individualized care, Dr. Shaikh believes no two patients are the same. He takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to treatment, tailoring each plan to meet the unique needs of every individual. His goal is to help each patient feel like themselves again, living a pain-free, healthy life.
Dr. Shaikh’s journey into medicine began in Toledo, Ohio, where he developed a passion for healthcare at an early age. As a valedictorian at St. John’s Jesuit High School, he went on to graduate magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, with a degree in microbiology. Dr. Shaikh continued his medical education at Ohio State, completing his internship at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He then pursued his anesthesiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami, one of the nation’s top hospitals, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at the same institution, which was ranked as the #1 pain management program in 2015.
Outside his professional commitments, Dr. Shaikh loves spending quality time with his wife and daughters. Whether changing diapers, reading bedtime stories, or enjoying family activities, he treasures these precious moments. Outside of family time, Dr. Shaikh stays active by playing in basketball and flag football leagues, lifting weights, and cycling. He enjoys traveling and exploring new, exciting cuisines when he has the opportunity.
